• Dr. Chitnis is a member of Academic Council of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
• Dr. Chitnis is a Chairman of BBA-IB course of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU – formerly known as University of Pune).
• Dr. Chitnis is a Member of NAAC Peer Team which is a Constituent of Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
• Dr. Chitnis is a Ph.D. Guide / Supervisor for VU University, Amsterdam, Netherlands.
