H.S.C. (10+2) with min 40% marks and English as a compulsory subject. (12th Appearing candidates can also apply.)

What is the duration of the BBA/BBA(CA)/ BBA (IB) Courses?

All the courses are three years full time course affiliated to University of Pune.

Are these programs recognized by University/ AICTE/ UGC?

All three Courses are Affiliated to the University of Pune and approved by Government of Maharashtra. AICTE approval is not applicable to Undergraduate programs.

What is the admission Procedure of BBA/ BBA (CA) / BBA (IB) for A.Y. 2017-18?

All the admissions of BBA / BCA / BBM (IB) for A.Y. 2017-18 will enroll through MITSOM College Entrance Test (MCET) consisting of Aptitude test (100 Marks) & Personal Interview (50 arks). The Entrance Test is schedule from 20th to 25th MAY 2017 in across the country.

How can I apply for Entrance Test?

The Entrance Test Forms can be filled on www.mitsomcollege.com by making online payment of Rs. 600 through Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking option and submit with recent scan photograph or in person at MITSOM College Admission Office.

What is the last date of submission of the Entrance Test application form?

The last date of submission of the Entrance Test application form for Pune City is 18th May 2017 till 05.00 pm.

What is the Structure of the Entrance Test?

The Entrance Test is consisting of Aptitude Test of 100 marks for one hour duration which will be followed by Interview for 50 marks.

When the merit list of Entrance Test will be declared?

The date of the declaration of merit list will be announce at the time of Entrance Test. Approximately it will be declared in a week’s time.

What is the meaning of Provisional Admission?

Provisional admission means your admission is based on your successful completion of Eligibility round of the Savitribai Phule Pune University in the First year.

Do MIT-SOM College Entrance Test (MCET) scores apply to other Institutes also for admissions?

No, The scores of MIT-SOM College Entrance Test is not applicable to any other Institutes.

Do MIT-SOM College accepts any other Score Card?

No, we do not accept any other Entrance Examination score cards.

How I will come to know about my Entrance Test Seat No, Timings and Venue?

All the candidates who are submitting their application in person will get their Admit Cards with Seat nos. immediately on the spot. Those who are filling online form they will receive thesoftcopy of their Entrance Admit card on the email ID, which is mentioned in the online form once the payment for the online form is paid. The detail schedule of the Entrance Test will be display on College website on 18th May 2017 after 10.00 am.

What are the documents required at the time Entrance Test or enrollment of Admission?

All the student who are appearing or been selected for / through Entrance Test have to submit the photo copies of documents like

A) Mark sheets of 10th Standard (S.S.C)- Attested copies.

B) Mark sheets of 12th Standard (H.S.C) - Attested copies.

C) Attested copy of Caste Certificate in case of reserved category (candidates from Maharashtra State only. Other documents viz: Validity, Non-Creamy layer certificate)

D) Domicile (For Maharashtra State candidates only) or Birth Certificate Copy (From Maharashtra) or School Leaving Certificate with Place of birth mentioned from Maharashtra

Does the MIT-SOM College provides accommodation facility for Outside city students?

Accommodation for few students is provided by College on merit basis, in addition we provide assistance to get the accommodation in private Hostels near the campus

When the academic session of the courses will start?

The Academic session begins from last week of June 2017.

Which authority will provide the final Mark sheet & degree Certificate of course?

The degree mark sheet and the certificate are provided by the Savitribai Phule Pune University (Formally known as “University of Pune”).

Is the Bank loan facility is available for these undergraduate courses?

Yes, all the under graduate courses of Savitribai Phule Pune University are eligible to get the financial assistance from Bank & other financial Institutes.

Does MIT-SOM College have 100% Placements?

MITSOM College offers 100% Placement assistance, with good record of in past few years.

Do MIT-SOM College offer BBA/ BBA (CA)/ BBA (IB) in Distance learning mode?

No, as BBA/ BBA (CA)/ BBA (IB) are full time degree courses, we do not offer of Distance learning mode.

Is the merit based scholarship is provided by MIT-SOM College?

No, Only the SC & ST Category students from Maharashtra State will get the scholarships through online procedure by Social Welfare & Tribal Development Department after completion of proper procedure laid down by University & state government time to time

What is the policy of refund of Fess in case of cancellation of admission?

The students cancelling their admission after the commencement of course will be receive the refund of fees after deductions of the amounts as mentioned below as prescribed by the University/Competent Authority.
